STATION.--414640077493801 POTTER COUNTY, local wellnumber PO72 LOCATION.--Lat 41`46'40", long77`49'38", Hydrologic Unit 02050205, at Denton Hill StatePark, and near Walton. OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey. AQUIFER.--Catskill Formation, Late Devonian age. WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled observation well,diameter 6 in., depth 110 ft, cased to 21 ft, open hole. INSTRUMENTATION.--Data collection platform with60-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station. DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 1,810 ft abovesea level, from topographic map. Measuring point: Top of plywood cover,1.8 ft above land-surface datum. Well casing extended June 26, 1996.New measuring point: Top of metal shelf, 3.7 ft above land-surfacedatum. REMARKS.--Daily maximum, minimum, and mean waterlevels since October 1994 are available from the District Office. PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1967 to current year. COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of thisstation is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of EnvironmentalProtection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
