STATION.--412427076594401 MONROE COUNTY, local wellnumber MO190 LOCATION.--Lat 41`12'23", long75`23'49", Hydrologic Unit 02040106, at Tobyhanna StatePark. OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey. AQUIFER.--Sandstone of Catskill Formation of LateDevonian age. WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled observation artesianwell, diameter 6 in., depth 98 ft, cased to 59 ft, open hole. INSTRUMENTATION.--Data collection platform. Satellitetelemetry at station. DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 1,990 ft abovesea level, from topographic map. Measuring point: Top of plywood shelf,3.0 ft above land-surface datum. Prior to Mar. 28, 1980, top of plywoodshelf, 2.6 ft above land-surface datum. REMARKS.--Daily maximum, minimum, and mean waterlevels since October 1994 are available from the District Office. PERIOD OF RECORD.--October 1967 to current year. COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of thisstation is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of EnvironmentalProtection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
