STATION.--403939076591001 SNYDER COUNTY, local wellnumber SN130 LOCATION.--Lat 40`39'39", long76`59'10", Hydrologic Unit 02050301, at State Game Land No.194, and at Meiserville. OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey. AQUIFER.--Irish Valley member of Catskill Formation,Late Devonian age. WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled observation well,diameter 6 in., depth 100 ft, cased to 40 ft, open hole. INSTRUMENTATION.--Data collection platform with60-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station. DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 740 ft above sealevel, from topographic map. Measuring point: Top of plywood cover, 3.6ft above land-surface datum. REMARKS.--Daily maximum, minimum, and mean waterlevels since October 1997 are available from the District Office. PERIOD OF RECORD.--June 1968 to current year. COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of thisstation is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of EnvironmentalProtection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
