OWNER.--U.S. Geological Survey. AQUIFER.--Sandstone and shale of Glenshaw Formation ofLate Pennsylvania age. WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled observation artesianwell, diameter 6 in., depth 100 ft, cased to 24 ft, open hole. INSTRUMENTATION.--Data collection platform with60-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station. DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 1,035 ft abovesea level, from topographic map. Measuring point: Top of casing, 3.45ft above land-surface datum. REMARKS.--Daily maximum, minimum, and mean waterlevels since October 1987 are available from the District Office. PERIOD OF RECORD.--November 1967 to currentyear. COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of thisstation is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of EnvironmentalProtection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
