STATION.--403429075392401 LEHIGH COUNTY, local wellnumber LE644 LOCATION.--Lat 40`34'29", long75`39'24", Hydrologic Unit 02040106, at Haafsville. OWNER.--Privately owned. AQUIFER.--Beekmantown Group of Middle Ordovicianage. WELL CHARACTERISTICS.--Drilled observation artesianwell, diameter 10 in., depth 184 ft, cased to 63 ft, open hole. INSTRUMENTATION.--Data collection platform with30-minute recording interval. Satellite telemetry at station. DATUM.--Elevation of land surface is 470 ft above sealevel, from topographic map. Measuring point: Top of plywood shelf, 2.6ft above land-surface datum. Prior to Mar. 18, 1981, top of casing,1.45 ft above land-surface datum. REMARKS.--Daily maximum, minimum, and mean waterlevels since October 1994 and water-quality records for 1973-75 areavailable from the District Office. PERIOD OF RECORD.--January 1971 to current year. COOPERATION.--Funding for the operation of thisstation is provided by the Pennsylvania Department of EnvironmentalProtection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
